Today i had the chirashi bowl that comes with chefs choice of sashimi, pickled daikon and cucumber, and tamago. My server V recommended fresh grated wasabi with my sashimi and it was amazing! She was very attentive, knew the menu well, and recommended the bowl. Thank you to the sushi chefs and my amazing server for a great lunch! If youre craving some quality sashimi and youre not looking to spend too much, this is a must.
Well, guess who drove up from costa Mesa to eat at Hino Oishi again? My grandkids begged Mom and Dad to come to town for the best teppanyaki in Ca! We requested Lee again and he once again delivered the most delicious food! This guy knows how to cook a steak properly. Tendy, juicy full of flavor. The flounder was on point too! This place is always packed! It was 3:30 pm ( the only reservation time left!) and it was full. Just go. Quit reading all the reviews and GO! Pro tip: ask for Lee!!! (I'm sure they are all great!). Lee even made rice for my grandson to meet his special request!
Food was delicious! My husband and I came to eat for our anniversary dinner and the food never disappoints! Landen was our server and he was very attentive and nice!
We came with a group of nine for my brothers celebration for a new home and an anniversary to enjoy some Hino, and once again, we had a fantastic experience! We've been regulars here for quite some time, and every visit is consistently wonderful. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, which makes each trip even better. This time, we were surprised with some complimentary appetizers--a thoughtful gesture from Hino staff that we truly appreciated. It's those little touches that make us feel valued as customers. The food quality is always top-notch, and the service never disappoints. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to gather with friends and family. Thank you, Hino's for your continued excellence. We love coming here and look forward to many more visits!
Lunch was definitely packed. Me and my friend got there around 1:30PM and there were still a lot of people waiting (~30 min wait for a table). We opted for the bar since there was no wait. We ordered the ff: Suzuki (striped bass) nigiri - 1st time having this as nigiri and it was definitely a good experience Maui roll - the honey miso sauce was just Yellow Mamba roll - asparagus gave it the perfect crunch and the salmon skin gave it its unique flavor Three of a Kind roll - this was our 3rd roll suggested to us based on our previous orders. This was good too, but the Maui roll is still better imo (just comparing based on the honey miso sauce) For our drinks, we both ordered cocktails: Geisha (more like juice-type drink) and Lemon Sour (not sure about the name, but this is more like soda-feel). Both are amazing! Sound is pretty loud which is average for a sushi place especially in the bar seating area. They also have teppanyaki option, but didn't try it this time. Overall, will definitely come back again!!
